Repairs Completed One Day Earlier Than Projected

INDIANAPOLIS – Citizens Energy Group has completed repairs to a broken 104-year-old water line on Fall Creek Parkway just south of Keystone Avenue. The lanes that were restricted due to the repairs – the far left southbound lane and the two left northbound lanes – are now back open. Crews will return to the site after tomorrow morning’s rush hour to remove plates from the road, with any lane restrictions during that period lasting no more than half an hour.

Jeff Willman, Vice President of Water Operations at Citizens, said, “After working extended hours and encountering more favorable conditions than anticipated, crews were able to complete the water main replacement one day earlier than expected. We are grateful for everyone’s patience during the repair, and we would like to thank the Indiana State Fair for their cooperation and communication throughout the project.”
