Citizens Energy Group and Keep Indianapolis Beautiful Team Up For "Trick or Tree"

INDIANAPOLIS – Volunteers from Citizens Energy Group and the Indianapolis community will join forces with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc. to plant 100 trees on Saturday in the Bosart Brown neighborhood on the east side. The event is part of Citizens’ ongoing 10 Thousand Trees initiative, a program to plant 10,000 trees across the city by 2025 as a way to beautify neighborhoods and reduce combined sewer overflows to area waterways. Participants are encouraged to come in costume to celebrate the spirit of the season.

What:    “Trick or Tree” tree planting

Where:  Tuxedo Park Baptist Church, 29 N. Grant Ave. (meeting location)

When:   Saturday, October 28, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
