Citizens Energy Group received the Diversity in Leadership Award from the 2020 Mayor’s Celebration of Diversity. This award celebrates an organization that cultivates an atmosphere of growth, particularly when considering upper-level diversity, as well as actively supports a diverse organizational culture.
Citizens was recognized on September 16 during a virtual awards ceremony along with fellow Mayor’s Celebration of Diversity honorees Peace Learning Center, Morales Group and US Hydrovac Inc.
“Citizens is so proud to receive the 2020 Diversity in Leadership Award,” said Jodi Whitney, Vice President, Human Resources and Chief Diversity Officer. “Diversity is a core value that guides the workforce at Citizens, and we are a better place to work and a better utility for Central Indiana because of it.”
