--- title: Stahley Named to 40 Under 40 List description: Stahley Named to 40 Under 40 List  image: https://blog.citizensenergygroup.com/hubfs/SMS-Headshot-04-1.jpg --- [![](https://blog.citizensenergygroup.com/hubfs/Engauge/engauge-logo.jpg)](https://blog.citizensenergygroup.com/engauge) [![](https://blog.citizensenergygroup.com/hubfs/Backgrounds/search-mobile.png)](https://www.citizensenergygroup.com/Search) # Stahley Named to 40 Under 40 List By Mandy Saucerman on 7/29/21 9:33 AM ![](https://blog.citizensenergygroup.com/hubfs/SMS-Headshot-04-1.jpg) The *Indianapolis Business Journal* has named **Shannon Stahley**, Senior Manager, Corporate Affairs, to its 40 Under 40 list for 2021.   The annual recognition program honors local business and professional leaders who have achieved success and excelled in their field before the age of 40 and demonstrated initiative and dedication in pursuing their careers.   Over the past 19 years, Stahley has served in positions of increasing responsibility since starting in Dispatch, including in Sales and Marketing, Corporate Strategy, Business Development, and Government Affairs.  She considers two of her greatest accomplishments at Citizens to be launching the [Neighborhood Ambassador Program](https://blog.citizensenergygroup.com/engauge/citizens-expands-neighborhood-ambassador-program) and leading the revitalization of the former coke plant.  Stahley serves on the boards of the Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center, Crossroads of America Council, Local Initiatives Support Corporation, and the Near North Development Corporation. In addition, she is a member of the Great Places Steering Committee representing the Twin Aire neighborhood.   Stahley holds a bachelor’s in management and business from Indiana University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Anderson University.
