We have a career opportunity for a Public Outreach Coordinator to join our team! The successful candidate will be responsible for company-wide research, planning, and execution of public outreach strategy, including coordination with project managers (e.g., engineers and other technical staff), internal stakeholders (e.g., Legal and Government Affairs), affected public and local officials. Utilize various communications mediums including direct mail communication, social media, public meetings, websites, project signage. to reach target audience(s). Prepare communication materials including postcards, fact sheets, website content and presentations; determine graphics needs, develop stakeholder lists for project areas, meeting scheduling, venue selection, and all related written correspondence. Maintain accurate records of outreach conducted for regulatory reporting purposes. Resolve concerns from the public related to capital project implementation. Lead recurring cross-functional coordination meetings with project managers, Corporate Affairs, Digital Engagement and Government Affairs. Actively coordinate with stakeholders such as Parks Department, Department of Public Works, Indiana Department of Transportation, neighborhood groups, and Mayors Neighborhood Advocates.
