Wastewater Electro Mechanic I

The successful candidate's work schedules are fixed with rotating shifts as needed to ensure 24 hour coverage 7 days a week. The incumbent is responsible for performing scheduled maintenance and minor repair of all mechanical equipment necessary to maintain safe continuous operations of wastewater treatment plants and lift stations. Incumbent must have working knowledge of the wastewater process including, but not limited to, proper handling of wastewater liquids and solids. Must possess knowledge and have the ability to repair, rebuild, and assist WW Electro Mechanic II on equipment including, but not limited to, motors and pumps up to 2,000 HP, various size gearboxes, primary and secondary clarifier drive units, centrifuges, compressed air, air driers, sand filters, UV and chemical disinfection, Incineration and the associated air quality emissions equipment. The position coordinates with Operations to perform equipment maintenance and repair. Incumbent is responsible for communicating, requesting and applying Lock-Out-Tag-Out to equipment for repair and or maintenance.

Meter Reading Supervisor

The successful candidate will coordinate and support the daily operations of reading gas, water, wastewater and thermal meters. Provide supervision to Meter Reading Coordinators and Meter Readers by monitoring individual and group performance through statistical process control and necessary review and support. Responsible for hiring and maintaining the appropriate staffing levels to ensure accurate and timely meter reads. Responsible for the appropriate training and field qualification of all meter readers. Collaborates with the Supervisor of Meter AMR & Meter Shop to ensure route efficiency. Ensure that meter reads are successful transferred to C2M daily to ensure accurate and timely billing.
