Allison Transmission’s Eric Scroggins Named to Board of Directors
INDIANAPOLIS – Eric Scroggins, Vice President & General Counsel at Allison Transmission, has been named to Citizens Energy Group’s Board of Directors. Selected by the Citizens Board of Trustees, the Board of Directors has primary oversight of the management team and long-term direction of the company.
As Allison’s chief legal officer, Scroggins is responsible for advising Allison’s board of directors and leadership team on a variety of legal and business matters; managing Allison’s legal affairs; and overseeing the company’s Government Relations, Export Compliance, Chief Compliance Officer, Internal Audit, and Sustainability Compliance organizations. Scroggins is known for being collaborative, partnering cross-functionally, and building strong teams.
Prior to joining Allison in 2007, Scroggins served as General Counsel for Product Action International and as an attorney with the law firm of Ice Miller. Before joining Ice Miller, Scroggins worked in a variety of roles for the State of Indiana, including Deputy Director of the Indiana State Personnel Department, and as a consultant for Waggoner, Irwin & Scheele. Scroggins holds a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University and a J.D. from Indiana University McKinney School of Law.
Scroggins is filling a board seat vacated by Anne Nobles, who served on Citizens Board of Trustees for five years and Citizens Board of Directors for 20 years.
