Closures Expected to Begin Monday, August 29
INDIANAPOLIS – As Citizens Energy Group continues to make progress on its DigIndy Tunnel System, upcoming construction will require road closures along portions of S. State Ave. and E. Pleasant Run Parkway S. Dr. (see map). The road closures will begin on Monday, August 29 and will last for approximately three months.
Local access will remain open. Motorists should exercise caution and follow all posted detour signage to avoid closure areas.
Completed portions of the DigIndy Tunnel System already have prevented more than 3 billion gallons of sewage from entering our local waterways. The entire system will be finished in 2025.
