Work Begins on Thursday, April 14
INDIANAPOLIS – As Citizens Energy Group continues construction on its DigIndy Tunnel System, upcoming work will result in the closure of E. Pleasant Run Parkway N. Dr. between S. Sherman Dr. and Washington St. (see map). Work will begin on Thursday, April 14 and last for approximately two months. Local street and Pleasant Run Trail access will remain open. Commuters should exercise caution follow posted detour signage to avoid closure areas.
This work is a component of the Pleasant Run Tunnel project, which is part of the larger DigIndy Tunnel System. Once the 7.4-mile Pleasant Run Tunnel is complete in 2025, sewer overflows now going to Pleasant Run Creek will be redirected to the tunnel, creating a healthier, more vibrant waterway and community.
We know construction is never without its challenges, and we greatly appreciate your patience. For more information on Citizens’ construction projects, visit www.CitizensEnergyGroup.com/Construction.
