Additional Traffic Control to be Added During High-Travel Times of Day

INDIANAPOLIS – Citizens Energy Group has postponed the reopening of Ritter Ave. until Friday, October 22 due to weather delays. Additional traffic-control measures will be in place during high-travel times of day beginning on Monday, October 4 and lasting throughout the remainder of the closure.

The sewer rehabilitation work on Ritter Ave. is a component of the Pleasant Run Tunnel project in Ellenberger Park, which is part of the larger DigIndy Tunnel System.

Once the 7.4-mile Pleasant Run Tunnel is complete in 2025, sewer overflows now going to Pleasant Run Creek will be redirected to the tunnel, creating a healthier, more vibrant waterway and community.

We know construction is never without its challenges, and we greatly appreciate your patience. For more information on this project, visit www.DigIndyTunnel.com/PleasantRun. For more information on all of Citizens’ construction projects, visit www.CitizensEnergyGroup.com/Construction
