Guilford Ave. to Close in Broad Ripple and Trotter Rd. to Close on Southwest Side
INDIANAPOLIS – In conjunction with Indy DPW’s planned improvements along Broad Ripple Ave., Citizens Energy Group continues performing water and natural gas main relocation work in the area. As part of this work, Citizens expects to close Guilford Ave. just north of Broad Ripple Ave. from Tuesday, May 31 to Thursday, June 2.
Local access (including the alley) will remain open. Street parking will be restricted where applicable. This work will require some temporary overnight water service disruptions. Impacted properties will be notified by door tag a minimum of 24 hours prior to the outage.
As part of Citizens’ storm water maintenance agreement with Indy DPW, Citizens will close a portion of Trotter Rd. between W. Camby Rd. and W. Mooresville Rd. to replace a storm water pipe (see map). The closure is expected to last from Tuesday, May 31 to Friday, June 3.
Motorists will be detoured via W. Camby Rd., Kentucky Ave., and W. Mooresville Rd. Local access will remain open.
In both work areas, drivers should exercise caution and follow all posted detour signage when applicable.
