INDIANAPOLIS – Citizens Energy Group will be performing sewer rehabilitation and water utility relocation work resulting in street and lane closures beginning this Thursday and on or after next Monday. See below for details:
- 16th Street between Meridian and Pennsylvania Streets
- Thursday, March 5 (weather permitting)
- Sewer rehabilitation
- One-day project, closure to be in place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
- Eastbound traffic on 16th Street will be closed between Meridian and Penn (westbound traffic will not be affected)
- Motorists should exercise caution and follow all posted detour signage.
- 11th Street between Illinois and Meridian
- On or after Monday, March 9 and lasting through approximately Monday, March 16 (weather permitting)
- Sewer rehabilitation
- One-week project, closure to be in place 24/7
- One eastbound driving lane will be closed between Illinois and Meridian
- Market, Delaware and Alabama Streets
- On or after Monday, March 9 and lasting through approximately Thursday, April 9
- Water utility relocation (related to Indianapolis Department of Public Works project)
- One-month project, closures to be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Lane restrictions will vary depending on where the crew is working each day; affected streets downtown will be, intermittently, Market, Delaware and Alabama
- Full street closures are not expected
