Affected Roads Include the Kessler Bridge Over the White River, Guion Road, and East Pleasant Run Parkway South Drive
INDIANAPOLIS – Beginning on or after Monday, June 21, Citizens Energy Group will start work on water and sewer projects that will result in road closures.
As part of the larger rehabilitation project on the Kessler Boulevard bridge over the White River, Citizens Energy Group will close the bridge to perform water utility work (see map). The closure is expected to last approximately two weeks.
A sewer rehabilitation project on the city’s northwest side will require a road closure along a portion of Guion Road between 56th and 62nd Streets for approximately two months (see map). Local access will remain open.
A sewer rehabilitation project in the Fountain Square area will require the closure of East Pleasant Run Parkway South Drive between Keystone and South State Avenues for approximately six weeks (see map). Local access will remain open; however, the sidewalk along Churchman Avenue will be closed.
In all project areas, motorists should exercise caution and follow all posted detour and directional signage.
