Sewer and Water Projects on South Side of Indianapolis to Result in Road and Lane Closures

Projects Begin on Monday, February 14

INDIANAPOLIS – As Citizens Energy Group continues to invest in critical infrastructure improvements, the following projects and associated road and lane closures will begin on the south side of Indianapolis on Monday, February 14.

Sewer rehabilitation will close Northbound Keystone Ave. between Prospect St. and E. Pleasant Run Parkway N. Dr. (see map). The closure will last approximately three days. Local access will remain open.

Water main work will close two southbound lanes of US 31/S. East St. between E. Elbert St. and E. Thompson Rd. (see map). The lane closures will take place during daytime hours (9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) and will last approximately five days. Local access will remain open.

Sewer rehabilitation will close two lanes of S. Madison Ave. in each direction at E. Pleasant Run Parkway N. Dr. In addition, one eastbound lane of E. Pleasant Run Parkway N. Dr. will close, as well (see map). The lane closures will last approximately three weeks. Local access will remain open.

Commuters should exercise caution in work areas and follow all posted detour signage.
