Check out this tip from ATI for good seated posture:

  • Adjust chair to properly fit you.
  • Position top of monitor approximately at eye level.
  • Sit at arms length from the monitor.
  • Center monitor and keyboard in front of you.
  • Arms/bent elbows should be relaxed and close to body.
  • Avoid resting forearms against sharp/hard corners.
  • Keep wrists flat and straight.
  • Keep keyboard flat. Insert keyboard feet back into casing.
  • If you have a keyboard tray, angle it at a negative tilt (down and away).
  • Keep your mouse in close to avoid reaching.
  • Maintain feet on floor or footrest.
  • Rotate job tasks as able and stretch throughout the day.
