Attention Men 40 years & over!!
The PSA test measures the amount of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) in the blood and is used to screen for prostate cancer. This test is for screening purposes ONLY and does not constitute a diagnosis. You will need to follow up with your physician if the test indicates high levels of PSA.
If you are male and 40 years of age or older, a PSA test should be done every 2 years.
