For the eighth consecutive year, Citizens Energy Group, in partnership with the Indianapolis Colts and the National Energy Foundation, held a student poster contest in the fall challenging Marion County and Westfield students in kindergarten through eighth grade to create a unique poster that demonstrates conservation in their home or community.
The posters were judged on how effectively students conveyed their message. Nearly 900 students entered the contest, and three grand prize winners were selected, one from each category – grades K-2, 3-5 and 6-8.
Each winner received an iPad and tickets to a Colts game, and their teachers each received a $350 grant. Congratulations, Luke, Sophia, and Hope!
