The first phase of rehabilitating a vital piece of Citizens Energy Group infrastructure is nearing completion. The Central Canal aqueduct recently received a major overhaul to repair structural deficiencies and extend its life at least another 25 years.

Citizens Energy Group congratulates Rhonda Harper, retired Community & Stakeholder Engagement Manager, on receiving the Jefferson Award in recognition of her 35 years of commitment to improving the lives of residents of Central Indiana. The award was presented to Rhonda by Citizens President & CEO Jeffrey Harrison during her recent retirement celebration. She retired from Citizens on March 31.

On April 11, INHP invited nearly 50 donors to be recognized during their annual Donor Appreciation Breakfast. Citizens Energy Group served as the title sponsor of the 55th Annual Fire, Police & Deputy Sheriff’s Community Recognition Luncheon on April 13. Nearly 40 local public safety professionals were recognized for their dedication and service to central Indiana throughout 2022.

Ben Edwards joined Citizens Energy Group on January 3 as a utility shift operator at our Thermal utility. In this position, Ben ensures safe and reliable operation of Perry K's water plant, turbine generators, and auxiliary equipment.
