As a part of our commitment to Diversity and Inclusion, Citizens Energy Group honors our employee military veterans each year.
Although we were not able to host a luncheon this year due to the ongoing pandemic, President & CEO Jeffrey Harrison recorded a “thank you” message that was sent to veterans’ cell phones and recognized them in a video sent to all employees on Veterans Day.
In addition, members of the Diversity and Inclusion Team volunteered to distribute gifts to our employee veterans as a small token of our appreciation for their sacrifice. A drive-through gift pick-up was held on the afternoon of November 11 at Belmont and Langsdale.
Citizens is proud that veterans make up 12 percent of its workforce. Thank you to each of our employee veterans for your service!
