Citizens Celebrates 25th Anniversary of National Safety Month

This June marks the 25th anniversary of National Safety Month. Due to the pandemic, instead of hosting our traditional Safety Day event, the Health, Safety, and Security department is sending employees weekly messages this month that highlight how safety impacts our four strategic pillars – customer satisfaction, employee engagement, financial integrity, and performance excellence.  

President & CEO Jeffrey Harrison kicked off Safety Month in a video message to employees on June 1. Additionally, in recognition of Safety Month, this issue’s Q&A features Safety Specialist Lance Miner.
