Citizens Energy Group recently participated in the 2020 Best Places to Work survey. Although Citizens did not make the list for Indiana, there was improvement in all categories compared to the results from the survey conducted in 2018. Below is a summary of the survey results.
- Citizens’ overall average score was 77 percent, an increase of 5 percent from the 2018 survey. Companies needed to receive an overall average score of 80 percent of positive responses to be considered for the Best Places to Work list.
- Overall participation among Citizens’ employees increased by 3 percent compared to the 2018 survey.
- The categories with the largest improvement include “Leadership and Planning” and “Corporate Culture and Communications.” Both categories saw a 9 percent overall increase.
- The highest ranked category in 2020 (as well as 2018) was “Relationship with Supervisor,” with an overall average score of 84 percent this year.
- Customized questions were added to measure our volunteerism and community involvement. Citizens scored 87 percent for doing its fair share in helping the community and society.
