On August 5, 2019, Citizens set a new system peak day demand for Westfield Water at 11.1 MGD (million gallons per day).
The previous peak demand was set in 2012 at 10.3 MGD. “This was achieved due to excellent coordination and teamwork by Citizens Westfield and Citizens Water Central Control System operations,” said Jeff Willman, Vice President Water Operations.
