Learn more about our recent Wellness Champions, find important reminders about annual health screenings, get details about an upcoming blood drive, and learn a helpful hint from HR.

 

Wellness Champions

Norzinskay James 8155February:  Congratulations, Jim Norzinskay from Citizens Westfield on being named the Wellness Champion for the month of February! Jim has lost over 20 pounds recently by eating healthier and walking. His goal is to live a long and healthy life.

 

 

 

Weeks, Shawn 7818March: Shawn Weeks is the March Wellness Champion. Shawn has lost 22 pounds by adopting a healthy lifestyle, incorporating more fruits and vegetables into his diet, and avoiding unhealthy foods. Congratulations, Shawn!

 

 

 

 

Health Screenings

It’s not too late to sign up for a health screening! Any employee who participates in the on-site screenings will be entered to win an additional paid day off!* Below are instructions for registering and more details.

Instructions

1. Set up an account online(Click on "Or, click here to register" on the website.)  Need help setting up an account? More detailed instructions are available on iTrust. 

2. Schedule your appointment by clicking on "Scheduler" from the portal's home page. 

Important Reminders

  • The Wellness Plan incentives, related to BMI and tobacco use, can be found on iTrust.Remember, if you (and your spouse, if applicable) participate in the health screening and meet body fat percentage and tobacco use guidelines as outlined in the 2019 Benefits Guide, you will receive a discount on your medical insurance and $250 HSA deposit each.
  • All employees can participate in the health screenings. There is no charge for employees (and spouses) who are enrolled in Citizens’ medical plan. A $55 fee will be charged for the on-site screenings to those who are not enrolled in the medical plan.

*Must be used in calendar year 2019 and must be scheduled in advance; not available to directors and above

 

Blood Drive

The next blood drive will be held Wednesday, April 17, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m., in the General Office Auditorium. Sign up to donate on the Indiana Blood Center websiteReminders: Don’t skip meals. Hydrate. Bring a photo ID. If you have questions about eligibility, send an email to eligibility@indianablood.org.

 

Helpful Hint from HR

Delta Dental logoRemember, if you are enrolled in Citizens’ dental plan, you do not need an ID card for dental services. Simply tell your dentist office that you are covered by Delta Dental. However, if you would prefer to carry an ID card, you can download an electronic card through the Delta Dental app, visit www.consumertoolkit.com to print one, or call customer service at 800-524-0149.
