Employees Support American Heart Month
Many employees wore red on National Wear Red Day, Friday, February 7, to help raise awareness about heart disease and strokes. This event helped kick off American Heart Month and demonstrated support for the American Heart Association.
Register for 2020 Health Screenings
It’s time for annual health screenings! Appointments are available through April 29.
To sign up:
- Log into your account at medikeeper.com. If you did not set up an account last year, click on “Or click here to register” on the site, and use your Citizens Energy Group email address as your username.
- Schedule your appointment by clicking on “Scheduler” from the portal’s home page.
Remember, if you (and your spouse, if applicable) participate in the health screenings and meet guidelines outlined in the 2020 Benefits Guide, you will receive a discount on your medical insurance, and spouses are eligible for a $250 HSA deposit.

Discount Available for 500 Festival Mini or 5K
Did you know that as an employee of Citizens Energy Group, you can receive a discount on your registration for this year’s OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon or Delta Dental 500 Festival 5K? Thanks to our 500 Festival Corporate Membership, you can register for the Mini-Marathon for just $65 or the 5K for $30. Don’t delay – our employee discount expires on Monday, April 20. Instructions are included below.
- Visit the iTrust home page and click on “Citizens Energy Group Announcements” near the top right. Click on the link in the announcement about the 500 Festival discount.
- On the first page of the registration website, in the Registration Type section, select the RED option of the race for which you’re registering:

Wellness Champions
January: Congratulations, Yvette Dennis, on being named the January Wellness Champion! Yvette’s hard work to lose weight has paid off. She is a role model for making healthy lifestyle changes rather than jumping on the fad diet bandwagon. Yvette has been consistent with exercise, focusing on limiting portion sizes at meals and increasing her vegetable intake.
February: Congratulations to Orlando Chamberlain for being named the Wellness Champion for the month of February! He is focused on creating a healthy lifestyle before entering retirement. Orlando stays active by aiming for 10,000 steps per day, adjusts his diet to maximize nutrition, reduces stress, finds time for himself, and gets enough sleep.
