New Performance Management System to Launch October 1

Beginning October 1, all non-bargaining employees will have access to our new performance management system, which will be part of Citizens Success Academy (CSA). 

With the launch of CSA Performance, all performance reviews for non-bargaining employees will be conducted on a calendar-year basis.  

The selection and implementation of a new performance management system is a result of the fiscal year 2020 strategic planning process. To help with the design of the new system, a company-wide survey was conducted last fall. The following goals for the system were established after receiving this feedback: 

  • Provide employees with line of sight to organizational and departmental goals  
  • Strengthen employee skills and focus development efforts  
  • Improve employee engagement through ongoing dialogue and real-time feedback
  • Elevate performance and productivity through continuous feedback and coaching
  • Develop and retain employees 

The project team spent months configuring and testing the system to ensure the desired goals are met. The team appreciates the employees in the Human Resources department and those on the Employee Communications Team who have reviewed CSA Performance ahead of the launch. 

A video preview of CSA Performance is available on the CSA home page and is designed to help employees better understand the basic features of the new tool. Next year, additional features will be introduced  in phase two of the performance management system implementation. 

 

How to Prepare for CSA Performance 

  • Close out your current PPR in Oracle by end of calendar year 2021. 
  • Watch the CSA Performance preview video posted on the CSA home page. 
  • Stay tuned for quick reference guides and training resources (virtual instructor-led and e-courses) post-launch.
