As we approach the start of a new fiscal year, it’s a great time to set new continuous improvement goals.
Some questions you might consider when setting goals for yourself or your area:
- What problems would you like to address using CLASS tools?
- What CLASS training would you like for yourself or your area?
- What was on your area’s Balanced Scorecard last year? Is there something you would like to continue or change next year?
- What improvements will positively impact Citizens’ customers?
The Quality team can meet with individuals or groups to help with goal setting, metrics development, and improvement plans.

Innovation Projects
An idea is considered innovative when a change to an existing process or a newly established process provides measurable benefits to the Trust independent of continuous improvement tools. Quality has a process to help you evaluate and implement your innovative idea; visit the Improvement Ideas List on iTrust to submit it for review. All completed CLASS and Innovation (NEXT) projects can be found on Quality's Completed Projects page.

Just Do It Projects
A Just Do It project is a great way to continuously improve something where the solution is already known. This doesn't mean it has to be a quick or simple project; it just doesn't go through the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) process. Just Do It projects can still make a big impact on efficiency and savings. All completed Just Do It projects can be found on Quality’s CI Activities and Completed Projects page.
