With the beginning of the new year, the Quality Systems department is offering multiple training sessions to support your Continuous Improvement goals. **Lean Leadership Training for Leaders (Supervisors, Managers and Directors) ** The Citizens Lean Leadership training and certification program provides leaders the opportunity to discuss leadership tools, struggles, and ideas while creating a common approach for supporting and leading lean thinking. The eight-week course is based on the book “People: A Leader's Day-to-Day Guide to Building, Managing and Sustaining Lean Organizations" by Robert Martichenko, Roger Pearce, Steve Gran and Walt Miller. - January 14 – March 3 (eight-week course consists of weekly meetings lasting one hour; attendance at seven of eight sessions is required) ***To enroll, visit the Quality iTrust page, and under the CI Tools & Training tab, choose “Lean Leadership,” and then click on the “Lean Leadership Sign Up” link.*** **Yellow Belt Training ** The CLASS Yellow Belt training and certification program provides individuals the opportunity to gain knowledge of the fundamental methodologies utilized for Lean and Six Sigma. The two-day training will focus on the main concepts of Lean Six Sigma and the basic tools including the 8 wastes, 6S, A3, SIPOC, process maps, fishbone diagram, 5 whys, and more. You must complete a small Continuous Improvement project for certification. - January 21 and February 13 ***To enroll, visit the Quality iTrust page, and under the CI Tools & Training tab, choose “Yellow Belt,” and then click on the “Yellow Belt Sign Up” link.*** **CLASS Training** Quality can do training for your Department upon request, or Trust-wide classes are available as shown below.  You can sign up on the [Training Calendar on iTrust](https://itrust.citizensenergygroup.com/CEGTraining/)***.  ***Other options will be added throughout the year.***  *** -
