After a long winter, many of us are anxious to get outside and get going on spring chores! Follow these tips to stay safe as you begin tackling your to-do list:
- The projects on our spring to-do list often include a lot of lifting, bending, carrying, pushing and pulling. Back and shoulder injuries are common during the spring. Remember to warm up muscles that may not have been used much in the past few months.
- Take the time to find your safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves.
- Fuel up gas-powered tools outside, not in the garage, and be prepared for severe weather.
