Citizens Energy Group partnered with the Indianapolis Colts and the National Energy Foundation again last fall to hold a student poster contest challenging Marion County and Westfield students in third through eighth grades to create a unique poster that demonstrates conservation in their home or community.
The posters were judged on how effectively students conveyed their message. Nearly 650 students entered the contest – now in its ninth year – and two grand prize winners were selected, one from each category: grades three through five and grades six through eight. Each winner received an iPad and tickets to a Colts game, and their teachers each received a $350 grant.
