Wastewater Employees Recognized for More Than 40 Years at DPW Luncheon

Nine Wastewater Operations employees were honored at the Indianapolis Department of Public Works Employee Appreciation Luncheon on October 16.

Employees who have served a combined 40 or more years with DPW and Citizens Energy Group in the wastewater industry were recognized on stage and congratulated by Mayor Joe Hogsett; AFSCME Local 725 President Steven Quick; DPW Director Daniel Parker; and Citizens Vice President, Water Operations Jeff Willman. Thank you to these individuals for their continued service to the residents of Indianapolis:

Duane Ford, Master Control Operator – 42 years

Mike Wood, Master Control Operator – 43 years

Benton Wombles, Wastewater Maintenance Planner – 44 years

Richard Hey, Wastewater Electro Mechanic II – 44 years
