Attend Community Events
Citizens Energy Group will support community events and raise awareness about our Commitment to Sustainability during the month of April.
- Earth Day Indiana Festival | Saturday, April 20: This annual event, held at Historic Military Park at White River State Park, features local food vendors, kids’ activities, live music, and a 5K run/walk along the White River.
- Earth Day Community Celebration | Sunday, April 28: The 8th annual celebration features numerous hands-on, environmentally friendly activities at the Jewish Community Center.
Sign Up for White River Film Screenings
Citizens Energy Group’s Sustainability Advisory Committee invites all employees to attend an upcoming film screening to learn more about the White River and celebrate Earth Day. Three short films have been created recently through a project sponsored by nonprofit organization Indiana Humanities. The goal of the project is to encourage new appreciation of the White River and spark meaningful conversations about its future.
Snacks will be provided at each session, and you’ll have a chance to win a prize package that includes an Indianapolis waterways T-shirt, gift card to Traders Point Creamery, and more! Sign up online! If you have questions, please contact Ann McIver, Edwin Morris, or Celeste Williams.
