By appointment only! Registration deadline is one week prior to your scheduled visit. If the minimum number of appointments are not met the mobile mammogram will be canceled.

St. Vincent is once again bringing their mobile mammography unit to Citizens. St. Vincent is one of the pioneers when it comes to breast health. Each year more than 4,000 women receive their screening mammograms through the mobile mammography unit. Early detection can save lives and is the strongest weapon in fighting cancer.

The mobile unit uses Digital Tomosynthesis, an advanced form of technology that creates a 3-D image of breast tissue. Citizens health insurance covers 1 3D mammogram a year. Please review the eligibility guidelines. If you meet the requirements, you can schedule an appointment by calling the Ascension St. Vincent Breast Center at 317-338-9595. Inform the operator you need to schedule for the mobile unit at Citizens Energy Group.

Appointment Information

· Screening appointments typically last for 20 minutes. Please make every effort to be on time for your appointment. If you are 10 or more minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled.

· You must bring your health insurance card(s) and driver’s license or photo ID with you. If your health insurance information is electronic, please bring a paper copy.

· Please wear a two-piece outfit.

· If you are wearing deodorant, you will be asked to wipe it off because deodorant distorts the images. Fresh deodorant will be provided.

COVID-Related Information

To maintain safety for both you and our staff, please comply with the following guidelines:

· Do not enter the mobile unit before your appointment time. While we appreciate those of you who come early to appointments, we have scheduled mammograms at an interval that allows the patient before you to have her mammogram and exit the unit before you enter.

· Please wear a face covering. Please be sure it covers your mouth and nose. All our mobile unit crew members also will be wearing a hospital-grade mask. If you wear a homemade mask on the unit, you may be asked to change to a hospital grade mask.

· We will take your temperature and ask you COVID screening questions when you arrive. If you have a fever or answer “Yes” to any of our screening questions, you may be asked to reschedule your mammogram.
